Between ages 13 to 21, I was super shy. Picture this: puberty hit me like a ton of bricks. I had a crush on this girl with amazing eyes and a big laugh. Let’s call her J. We lived in the same area, and whenever she said my name, I’d sweat buckets.
It was embarrassing, but I figured it wouldn’t last forever. In high school, I wrote songs about J, but she never heard them because I’d die of embarrassment if she did. Then, one day, she heard one through a friend at recess.
Surprisingly, she thought it was cute, even though my voice was like a frog’s. That got me thinking: why not share that warm feeling with other couples, but with better singers? And that’s how CupidSong started.
